Amar Enhdal

Hello everyone. My name is Amar.

I was born as the third son of my family in Tsengel sum, Bayan-Ulgii province. I have applied to the 21|21 scholarship program from Selenge province.

I'm a first year student of Mechanical engineering at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. I want to pursue this profession because I am creative, and I want to create new ideas for productivity. That's why I dream of seeing Mongolia lead in the world regarding technology and engineering. I want to participate and be a leader in this sector.

I want to invent new things that are useful to people, just like Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, Elon Musk, and Leonardo Da Vinci. I am moving forward step by step to achieve our dreams. Now that I have improved my English and started preparing for IELTS since last year. But after passing IELTS, (International English Language Testing System), I will apply for a graduate degree at the EPFL University.

Fall Semester Update:

After graduating from high school and becoming a student, I thought everything would be great. But being a student and going to university was not the place I thought it would be. For the first few weeks, I was nearly lost inside the school, with the incomprehensible schedule and classrooms. But the last few weeks have been getting used to everything.

The first semester ended with disappointment. But I learned a lot. I learned that everything should be done on time, always be responsible and most importantly, there are things that cannot be changed no matter how many excuses you make. I caught a cold in the middle of the course and took a 2-week leave. But the progress test had taken that week. I notified to the teacher and university officers and tried to submit it again, but they said, "Once it's on the web, it can't be changed." This is my irresponsibility.

Spring Semester Update:

Greetings!

The past few months have been a time where I have understood a lot of things.

I have come to understand that, not only university but also life itself was not easy. Since coming to the city, I have learned how to get to know people and find ways to get along with them. In addition, I have been improving my knowledge of financial education and developed the habit of spending money properly.

I worked hard to improve my previous semester's GPA which was caused by my irresponsible mistake. Moreover, I corrected my misconceptions about what engineers do, and learned about the importance of their work. This summer, in the middle of July, I plan to conduct research in Zavkhan province in cooperation with teachers and classmates.
